I remind myself to be kind to myself, and as slightly ridiculous as it may sound, to treat myself in the same gentle way I’d want to treat a daughter of mine. It really helps.

I hope that I’m always struggling, really. You develop when you’re struggling. When you’re struggling, you get stronger.
I never really share true experiences with celebs but this one has been on my list for the past 2 days. I always called the #JonasBrothers fan friendly but I gotta give credit where it’s due. Even though #AndrewGarfield denied me a photo at first, he still took the time to talk to me and give me a hug and “promise to remember my name”. Not knowing whether or not to feel disappointed or extremely happy, I was still confused as to why I did not have a documentation of this actor that I love very much. If you’ve never seen “Boy A” or “Never Let Me Go”, drop everything now and do so. #SpiderMan is a blockbuster, but those movies make you think. After he left, I was on my phone to check out where he’d be next so I can at least catch a glimpse of him. All of a sudden I get a tap on my shoulder, “very quickly. I didn’t want to make a scene of it back there because there was a lot of people.” It was him. He ran out of his car just to take a photo with me! It’s blurry a bit mostly because I was shaking and wanted to cry, but I cannot believe what just happened as he ran back into his car in the MIDDLE of traffic. I was in shock and awe. To say it was the best experience ever would be an understatement. Thank you for making it unforgettable and sorry for the fan fiction y’all!! #TIFF14 #TIFF #toronto #lovehim #alwaysnumberoneinmyheart #thatsmirkthough #99homes
